A man has been charged with murder after a woman was found dead at a property in Melbourne’s south-east.
Police were called to a home in Sandhurst following reports of an assault at about 11:40pm on Saturday night.
There, they found a 43-year-old woman dead and a teenage boy with a head injury.

The boy was taken to hospital and police arrested a 45-year-old man.
He has since been charged with one count of murder.
The 45-year-old will appear in court at a later date.
“Investigators believe the parties involved were known to each other,” Victoria Police said.
