Sydney's third Test

Meanwhile, Dr Chant is saying the third Test will go ahead at the SCG with 50 per cent capacity, saying additional safety measures are in place.

"Seating outdoors poses less risk than people perhaps gathering in households to look at the Test... we have got faith in the transport plan, and the work that the Sydney Cricket Ground has done, but we are looking over the plans as we speak to ensure that we can strengthen all elements," she said.

"But, again, we're urging anyone who is unwell, do not attend. Check before you go to that Test - check the venue and make sure that you haven't been to any of those sites. And we will update the community on any additional information."

"This morning we even tightened the COVID-safe plan to make sure there's additional information, masks available for anyone catching public transport. So everything is being done in all aspects of the community to keep everybody safe," Ms Berejiklian added.
