SA Police are responding to an "incident" at Westfield's Marion Shopping Centre in Adelaide's south-west.
Numerous patrols are attending the scene and police have urged the public to avoid the area.
The SA Ambulance Service (SAAS) has told the ABC that paramedics are treating two patients for non life-threatening injuries.
A woman in her 70s has suffered a shoulder injury and a person in their 30s has suffered a knee injury, SAAS said.
SAAS said one of the patients is being transferred to the Flinders Medical Centre for treatment.

Witness says she heard reports of someone carrying a weapon
A witness, working in Myer, told the ABC she heard someone may have had a weapon in the shopping centre, but details remain scarce.
Police are yet to confirm any details.
"[I] haven't heard anything since, the witness said.
"But my other staff members are in a different store, just locked in the back room."

Another shopper says the "announcement wasn't clear at all" amid scenes of panic.
"We headed straight to the cinemas and we were waiting in the queue and suddenly staff were saying 'We need to move, we need to move'," they said.
"We didn't (know) what happened...It wasn't clear what happened."
ABC reporter Matthew Smith has interviewed a woman caught up in the evacuation.
She was watching a movie in the shopping centre when she heard an emergency alert.
"All of a sudden everyone just came running in, just sprinting incoming yelling" run, run!" she said.
"We had no idea it was a drill or something was happening."

Images shared on social media show electronic billboards in the centre warning of an "armed offender".
The signs flash up with advice to "escape", "hide" and "tell".

ABC reporter Matthew Smith said there are currently "plenty of flashing lights, plenty of streets blocked off" surrounding the centre.
He said spoke to a lady who was going to an optometrist when the evacuation order was made.
"She said they were asked to go out and she stayed there and has had her appointment and now has left the building," he said.

Smith said there were signs put up within Westfield Marion alerting shoppers of the evacuation.
"I did speak to one Myer employee just five minutes ago who said she was ushered out of the building, however she still has staff inside," he told ABC News Channel.
"She says they are safe but the details are very sketchy about what has gone on. A lot of confusion."
Police are set to speak to the media at 5.30pm with more details.
Authorities have erected fences around the shopping centre.
Wendy, who was locked down inside Woolworths while speaking to the ABC, said she was at the check-out getting ready to leave the store when the shutters came down.
"There was an announcement saying there was an incident with weapons in the mall, and that the mall was in lockdown as a result," she said.
"It was all pretty fast, the shutters came down really quickly, I didn't even realise they were coming down because I was at the check-out and next thing I look up and the whole store was shut.
"The Woolworths staff have periodically updated us throughout the ordeal with information, but they don't have a lot of information."
