A teenager has died after he was found with a stab wound on Sunday afternoon in the North Coast region of New South Wales.
Emergency services were called to Pacific Street in Corindi Beach – 26km north of Coffs Harbour just after 5.40pm where they found the 16-year-old with a stab wound to his thigh.
Police applied first aid while they waited for the arrival of paramedics who then took the boy to Coffs Harbour Health Campus.
He died at the facility shortly after.
Detectives within the Coffs-Clarence Police District have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation alongside the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad detectives.
Several people were spoken to at the location as they appeal for more information surrounding the incident.
