Brunch has become so popular that its signature drink evokes good times all by itself.

Mimosas has already opened in Whittier and a new 7,300-square-foot location will open mid-November in the Anaheim Hills Festival shopping center. Designed as an everyday brunch destination with a “coastal décor meant to create the feeling of a vacation resort,” it will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.

There will be late-night tapas, and a full bar with beer, wine and 25 different kinds of mimosas, bloody marys and margaritas.

“Mimosas is going to be a wonderful new addition to Anaheim Hills Festival, and we are happy to announce that it will be opening next month,” said Christine Lee, property manager for the shopping center in an announcement. “The restaurant’s fresh, vacation-like atmosphere coupled with its incredible array of menu options will make Mimosas a fun new place.”

The breakfast menu includes classics like bacon and eggs with country potatoes ($15),  biscuits and gravy ($14), omelets ($14-$16) and a deep-fried pancakes ($12), as well as Mexican specialties like chilaquiles ($16) and huevos divorciados ($16). Four kinds of eggs Benedict will be served including a fancy lobster version ($25).

For lunch and dinner, choose from salads like a Cobb ($15) or grilled shrimp ($16), burgers and sandwiches ($14-$19) or pastas ($15-$29), chicken ($18), seafood ($20-$28) and steaks ($26-$165).

“We absolutely love North Orange County,” said Cynthia Vigil, owner and CEO of Mimosas. “We feel confident that Anaheim Hills Festival will provide us with a customer-centric, convenient location to develop our second SoCal restaurant into a community gathering place where friends and families come together to indulge in delicious food in a fresh resort-like setting.”
