Two teenagers have been killed in a horror crash overnight.
Emergency services rushed to Windsor Road at McGraths Hill in Sydney’s northwest about 9.40pm Monday after a Nissan 200SX struck a power pole.
Three teenagers were travelling in the car, with the 17-year-old P-plater driver suffering chest and internal injuries before he was taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment.
He remains in a stable condition.
Despite attempts by paramedics, the two teen passengers died at the scene.
NSW Police established a crime scene, with officers attached to the Crash Investigation Unit now investigating the incident.
It is alleged the Nissan and a Ford Falcon allegedly collided immediately before the Nissan left the road and struck a pole.
The driver of the Falcon stopped and called Triple Zero. He has since been taken for mandatory blood and urine testing.
Investigators are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to contact police.
A further three people were killed on NSW roads on Monday.
An elderly man died when his Holden Commodore crashed with a Nissan Pathfinder in the state’s Central West.
Meanwhile, a man and woman died in a two-vehicle crash near Hay when a sedan and truck collided.
The 71-year-old male driver of the sedan and female front passenger were treated by paramedics but died at the scene.
