The Country Fire Service (CFS) says a bushfire burning on Gorge Road at Montacute, just east of the Adelaide suburb of Athelstone, has been contained.

Firefighters had been worried the fire would cross Gorge Road and head towards the towns of Paracombe and Castambul when a wind change hit the area in the afternoon but instead it was able to be contained.
"If it jumps over, we run the risk of chasing it all night," CFS incident controller Dennis Turner said earlier.
"[The] townships of Paracombe and Castambul are potentially under threat if it does cross the road, so we've got to be very aware of that and [we're] working to mitigate that at the moment."
A previous emergency warning from the CFS has been downgraded to an advice message.
"The threat of this fire has reduced, however people are reminded to take care in the area. Smoke will reduce visibility on the roads and there is a risk of falling trees and branches," the CFS said at about 8pm local time.
About 60 fire trucks and eight aircraft responded to the fire burning in scrubland in the Adelaide Hills that started about 11am.
No buildings were threatened by the fire within the Black Hill Conservation Park.
About 45 hectares of bush was burnt.
Gorge Road and Corkscrew Road are closed.
The temperature in Adelaide peaked at 39 degrees Celsius.
Strong winds blew across the city, with a change coming in about 4pm.
A total fire ban is in place for the Mount Lofty Ranges because of an extreme fire danger rating.
