Rain is in the forecast each day this week, and temperatures will be well below-normal for mid-June.
"We're going to feel like we're in Seattle the next several days," WRAL meteorologist Peta Sheerwood said.

Monday will be one of the coolest days of the week, with a high in the mid 60s in Raleigh. Rain will fall on and off all day, starting in the morning, according to Sheerwood, and heavy downpours and scattered thunderstorms are possible.
There is an 80% chance for rain all day.
Tuesday and Wednesday will stay mild and rainy, but thunderstorms are not as likely. Highs on Tuesday will be in the upper 60s, and on Wednesday they will be in the low 70s. Expect to see some rain all day.
Thursday will be warmer, with a high around 80 degrees, but more showers and storms are likely, especially in the first part of the day.
Some sun will peek through the clouds on Thursday, which will be a welcome change after three days of gloomy weather.
On Friday, temperatures bump up to normal again, with a high of 85 degrees. Again, rain and thunderstorms are possible, although the chance for rain decreases to 30%.
The weekend should be mostly clear but hot, with highs in the upper 80s or lower 90s.
