A woman has been charged with murder after police allege she deliberately drove into a man with a four-wheel-drive in Sydney's west, fatally pinning him against a wall.
Police said officers were called to a unit complex on Hill Road at Wentworth Point at about 8.30pm on Saturday night after reports a man had been hit by a Toyota Kluger.
The 31-year-old had been pinned against a brick wall and was treated by police and paramedics but died at the scene. A crime scene was established and examined by forensic police.
A 44-year-old woman, alleged to have been behind the wheel of the Toyota, was arrested and taken to Concord Hospital under police guard to be treated for a fractured wrist. She also underwent mandatory testing required after a serious car crash.
When the woman was released from hospital, she was taken to Auburn police station and charged with domestic violence-related murder.
"Police will allege in court that the man and woman – who were known to each other – were involved in a verbal altercation, before the woman got in the Toyota and deliberately struck the man, causing fatal injuries," police said.

The woman, from Quakers Hill, was refused bail and will appear in Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday.
Footage from the scene showed police tape cordoning off part of an undercover car park.
Witness Usha Kodr told Seven News he "heard a bang and the whole concrete floor just, like, sort of shook".
"Then we heard the ambulance and the police cars come by and we came down to check it out, to see what's going on," Mr Kodr said.
