A man is dead and three others, including a child, have been taken to hospital following a horrific head-on crash between two cars.
Emergency services were called to Heathcote Road in Lucas Heights on Sunday afternoon.
Police say a 33-year-old driver of one of the cars died at the scene.

His 67-year-old passenger was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious condition.
A 33-year-old and a child in the other car were also taken to hospital.
A crime scene has been established as police work to determine the cause of the crash.
New South Wales’ traffic monitoring service said Heathcote Road had been closed in both directions between New Illawarra Road and St George Crescent.
“Use an alternative route such as New Illawarra Rd and the M5 Mwy,” it advised.
Police said the road would be closed “for some time”.
