Our Tuesday begins with a clear sky and milder temperatures, middle 50s to middle 60s. Our hills and mountains feel several degrees warmer than that.

Sunshine and a summer spread return today. Highs begin in the 60s along the coast and end near 90 degrees inland.

Dry and gusty winds keep our fire threat high through the afternoon.

RED FLAG WARNING: Today until 5 p.m.

Marine layer clouds and cooling sea breeze return tonight. Lows settle into middle 40s to middle 50s.

Wednesday and Beyond:
Significant cooling spreads across our coast and bay communities tomorrow and inland by Thursday afternoon. Some patchy drizzle is possible Thursday and Friday morning. This helps lead to our coolest afternoons.
