NBC's “Today” show will expand its content through a new 24-hour streaming service that launches Wednesday, the network announced.
"Today All Day" will offer 24 hours of programming on the Peacock streaming service, with content tailored to viewers spending more time at home "focusing on domestic activities from crafting to finances to summer cook-outs," the network said.
"This is just the beginning of a big and fun new chapter for 'TODAY,' ” said NBC News President Noah Oppenheim in a staff memo on Monday. “The feed will continue to grow and evolve in the coming weeks and months."

The offering will include "Today" anchors and personalities Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, Al Roker, Carson Daly, Craig Melvin, Willie Geist, Sheinelle Jones, Dylan Dreyer, Kristen Welker, Peter Alexander and Jenna Bush Hager, a daughter of former President George W. Bush.
The "Today" franchise launched in 1952, making it one of the long-running television programs in history.
It also has been the top-rated morning show for the past 58 months for viewers ages 25 to 54, according to the network.
The streaming industry has rapidly expanded in recent years with the launches of Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Apple TV and Disney+, among others, as more customers turn away from traditional cable.
The video streaming market is expected to reach $150 billion by 2026, according to Allied Market Research, a global market research and business consulting company.
