Detectives are searching offenders involved in a stabbing in the Melbourne CBD this morning that left a man in a critical condition.
Police were called to Market Street about 5am to reports that man had been stabbed outside a hotel.
In a statement this morning, a spokeswoman for Victoria Police said “the offenders fled”.
The victim was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
“Detectives are in the very early stages of the investigation and are piecing together what has taken place including whether those involved are known to each other,” the spokeswoman said.
