I appreciate this opportunity to make some comments regarding Park Ridge-Niles School Dist. 64 and taxpayer liabilities in general here in Illinois. As a homeowner, I will pay $3,161 in property taxes this year to support Dist. 64. I attended these same Dist. 64 schools from 1958 to 1967 when I was a child. I presume you are aware Illinois has about the second highest property taxes in the nation.
I object to this school board’s vote to spend about $25 million on construction ...
