Brisbane Airport named among more than a dozen new Covid-19 exposure sites - NEWS.com.au

Brisbane Airport is among more than a dozen new Covid-19 exposure sites identified by health authorities.

Officials have issued an alert for 14 additional new venues of concern in southeast Queensland, where residents in 11 local government areas are in their sixth day of a strict lockdown.

Queensland recorded 10 new locally acquired cases of the virus on Friday, with authorities warning they will not make any decisions until Sunday morning on whether lockdown will be extended.

Chief health officer Jeannette Young said she would need “every single one of those days” to be able to work out the state’s next steps.

Anyone who was at the following venues during the following times is considered a close contact who must immediately isolate, get tested and remain in quarantine for 14 days regardless of the result.
