While we’ve had these winds before, we could see more fallen trees and damage because the soil is so soggy, and tree root systems have a harder time holding on with the force of the winds. There will be some isolated wind gusts above 40 miles per hour, particularly nearer the water, and some isolated 50-60 mile per hour gusts can be expected on the coast and around Whidbey Island.
