Here's how the borders will look in the coming days
Given all the border arrangements changing at present, are you able to provide an update on domestic travel rules as of Feb 1 when the changes come into place?-Border update
Queensland: From 1:00am on Monday, anyone can enter the state from anywhere without requiring a border pass! Huzzah!
New South Wales: Everyone is welcome! At anytime! Open, open open!
Victoria: From 6:00pm tonight, travellers from Cumberland LGA in Sydney will need to self-isolate on arrival in Victoria, get tested within 72 hours of arrival and remain in quarantine until they receive a negative result.
All travel into Victoria from other states and territories requires a travel permit. You can apply for a permit via the Service Victoria website at service.vic.gov.au.
ACT: From 3:00pm today anyone can travel into the seat of national power at any time without the need for border passes or quarantine! Huzzah!
Western Australia: Travel from NSW, Victoria and Queensland is permitted, subject to 14 days of self-quarantine and COVID-19 testing. Everyone else is free to enter but there is a requirement for a G2G PASS declaration prior to entry.
Tasmania: From 12:01am on Sunday, there's unrestricted travel to and from the Apple Isle! Huzzah!
Northern Territory: Anyone can enter the Top End except if you've been in the Blacktown City Council, Burwood Council, Canterbury-Bankstown Council, City of Canada Bay Council, City of Parramatta Council, Cumberland Council, Fairfield City Council, Inner West Council or Strathfield Municipal Council areas. If you have visited any of those areas, you'll have to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival.
South Australia: Travel restrictions with Greater Sydney will be lifted from 12:01am on Sunday, provided NSW records no new cases of community transmission between now and then.
Travellers from Greater Sydney will then be able to enter South Australia for any reason.
However they will need to get a COVID-19 test on Day 1, Day 5 and Day 12, and they must self-isolate until their Day 1 test returns negative.
