Woman dies, three injured after boat crashes into private Brisbane jetty - ABC News

A woman aged in her 20s has died and two other people and a child have been injured in a boating accident on the Brisbane River.

The Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) said a boat crashed into a private jetty on Laurel Avenue at the Chelmer reach just after 4:30pm.

Multiple crews were called to the scene.

Paramedics attempted to save the woman but she died a short time later.

A QAS spokesperson said two people were taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, while a child was taken to the Queensland Children’s Hospital.

All are in a stable condition.

The forensic crash unit is investigating.
