A child who attended a western Sydney trampoline centre is the only local coronavirus case recorded in NSW during the latest 24-hour reporting period.
The case, which was announced on Sunday, is the second child to become infected with coronavirus after attending Flip Out Prestons on Sunday, October 25, after an adult attended the centre with symptoms.
NSW Health has asked anyone who was at the centre between 11am and 1.50pm on the day to come forward for testing immediately and self-isolate.
The child attended the Bambinos Kindergarten at Horningsea Park on Thursday and Friday. The centre has been closed for cleaning and contact tracing is under way. All children and staff who attended on these days are considered close contacts and must get tested and self-isolate.
NSW also recorded six cases in hotel quarantine during the reporting period, Premier Gladys Berejiklian said on Monday.
In Victoria, there are now 49 active cases of coronavirus, as the state recorded another day of no new cases.
Ms Berejiklian says the government was concerned about compliance with restrictions at Sydney restaurants after contact tracers struggled to identify diners at some restaurants.
Chief Health Officer Kerry Chant said some diners at the Jasmins Lebanese Restaurant at Liverpool had not provided contact details, meaning it had been difficult to contact those who attended from 2pm to 3.30pm on October 25, meaning they are a close contact of a case.
"We don't have any room for complacency and, as I foreshadowed last week, mandatory QR codes are still on the table for NSW," the Premier said.
Dr Chant said there had been other instances involving venues where some diners had only provided the contact details of one person on the table.
"That person then has to recall everyone there and find their mobile phone numbers, which can be challenging," she said.
"So everyone has a responsibility to log in and we ask that the businesses also assist us by ensuring that people log in."
