Periods of rain are likely to begin Wednesday afternoon and continue throughout the evening and night, making for a dreary Veterans Day in central Pennsylvania.

Showers are likely to begin after noon and could continue off and on until 10 p.m. Temperatures will again reach the 70s, but could feel cooler with a 100% chance of precipitation, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters say there is a slight chance the rain trickles into tomorrow morning. Precipitation is possible before 10 a.m., along with 20 mph wind gusts.

Inclement weather will clear by Friday and take the warm weather with it. Highs will peak near 60, the NWS said. Early weekend forecasts predict Saturday and Saturday’s temperatures will not climb past the low to high 50s.
