Border restrictions between NSW and Victoria could be lifted within three weeks.

It comes as Victoria recorded its fifth consecutive day of no new community COVID-19 cases and zero deaths on Wednesday.
There has only been one other occasion Victoria has recorded so many consecutive days of zero cases: in February, when there were three weeks of no cases.
That run was broken when the state's fifth coronavirus case was confirmed on February 22.
A final decision on the border reopening is likely to be made after representatives from the government, NSW Health and NSW Police meet.
Earlier this week NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said the southern border restrictions would not remain in place a day longer than necessary.
She said the state government would closely monitor Victoria's case numbers for at least two weeks after regional areas open to Melbourne residents on November 8.
"I want to give the signal to the people of NSW that we’re talking weeks, not months, in terms of when the Victorian border may come down, but that again is based on health advice," Ms Berejiklian said on Monday.
The Premier and Dr Kerry Chant will give an update on COVID-19 and the border restrictions at 11am.
