There have been five new cases of coronavirus diagnosed in NSW up to 8pm on Saturday.
Of those, two are returned travellers in hotel quarantine and three were locally acquired.
One of the locally acquired cases is linked to the Liverpool private clinic cluster, and one is a social contact of a previously reported confirmed case with no known source.
The third case has no known source.
Contact tracers have been working in overdrive to put a lid on new outbreaks popping up across Sydney as Queensland threatens to restart its border clock if all new cases are not linked within 48 hours of diagnosis.
In the past week, restaurants, shopping centres, supermarkets and public transport routes have all been issued health alerts.
Previous advice for a train replacement bus from Central to Strathfield at 11.48pm, arriving at 12.15am on October 5 has now been upgraded, with all passengers now considered a close contact.
Anyone on the bus at the time must get tested immediately and self-isolate for 14 days from the time of travel, regardless of the result of their test.
A new alert has been issued for Lakemba Radiology, from noon to 2.30pm on October 1. Anyone at the clinic at the time is considered a casual contact and should monitor closely for symptoms, and get tested if they arise.
