A missing Dandenong North woman and her dog have been located after the pair were spotted in CCTV footage.
The search for Cara Morrissey was relocated to Melbourne's north after police located the footage.
"Please be advised missing Dandenong North woman, Cara and her dog, Holly, have been located safely this afternoon," Victoria police said in a statement on Wednesday night.
Morrissey and her white Maltese Poodle, Holly, were captured on camera at Kensington station just after 7am this morning.
The 30-year-old had been missing since 7.30am yesterday, when she vanished while walking her dog in Dandenong North.
Morrissey's family went looking for her after she failed to return home and immediately raised the alarm with police.
Family members said her disappearance was "out of character".
Earlier on Wednesday, police called in a specialist search and rescue, police bikes, the police helicopter along with SES crews to help with the search, which was previously focused in the Dandenong North area.
Speaking with media today, Victoria Police Senior Sergeant Chris Savage said they held concern for the woman's wellbeing due to the "very cold conditions".
Savage said Morrissey left all belongings behind and has no phone, no keys and no wallet on her.
"She's just got her dog," he said.
"It is quite out of character according to the family. This is not something she would regularly do.
"She is a regular walker but she would usually return after an hour and a half or so."
