There have been seven new cases of coronavirus diagnosed in NSW up to 8pm on Thursday.
No cases were locally acquired, meaning all of Friday’s cases are returned travellers in hotel quarantine.
There were 13,686 tests completed in the 24-hour period up to 8pm on Thursday, still thousands short of the Premier’s preferred 20,000 per day.
Friday’s low number comes despite massive queues in Bathurst for testing on Thursday.
Locals lined up in their cars after a raw sewage report detected traces of coronavirus in the town, just one day after thousands descended upon the regional city for the Bathurst 1000.
