A man has been taken to hospital with serious stab wounds and several others have been injured after a fight in Melbourne's CBD overnight.

Police said they were investigating the incident, where multiple people were stabbed at a short-term rental address on Spencer Street.
Police said a 19-year-old with several stab wounds walked from the Spencer Street address to Southern Cross Station at about 2:20am this morning.
The man told police he had been at a party when a fight broke out, and he was stabbed multiple times.
The 19-year-old was taken to hospital in a critical condition, police said.
Ambulance Victoria said he was in a stable condition with serious upper body injuries.
Several other people have gone to local hospitals with stab wounds, but their injuries were not considered life-threatening, police said.
Police set up a crime scene on Spencer Street and all traffic between Little Bourke and Bourke Street was being diverted around the scene.
Police also investigating 'brutal' brawl on Collins Street
Police are also investigating another fight that broke out on Collins Street in Melbourne's CBD at about 3:45am.

)Two eyewitnesses, Peter and James, said they were at a club in the CBD and saw two groups yelling at each other.
"After the yelling, they moved down the road because security was there, so they got away from them," Peter said.
"Then someone threw a punch … and a bunch of other guys came in and then they all started hitting each other and full on it went all the way down the road around the corner."
Police then arrived and broke up the fight, and a few people were arrested, the eyewitnesses said.
"It was real brutal, it was lucky the police arrived when they did," James said.
Police said two men aged 20 and 21 were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
