I am travelling from Victoria to Brisbane Thursday evening and getting in car to go to Sunshine Coast. Will I be able to fly back to Melbourne-Jo k
At this point, we don't know what restrictions will look like after Thursday. They could be eased, they could be tightened, they could stay the way they are. We just have to wait and see what health authorities decide.
Is there a definition of “local Area” for exercise purposes?-Data
No there's not, but you can't leave the lockdown zone if you're in it. For example, if you're in Brisbane you can't go for a hike on the Gold Coast. Stay close to home.
Why isn’t brisbane in a full lockdown? With nothing open, no one allowed out except for exercising?-?
That's what we're trying to avoid with these current measures. So if people stick to them, we've got a better chance of that not being necessary.
I have accomodation and flights booked to travel and stay in Brisbane next week... should I look into canceling and trying to obtain a refund... desperately need a break and to visit a loved one however....-Airbnb booked Brisbane
I can't tell you what things are going to look like next week. There is no guarantee we'll still be in lockdown, but there's no guarantee we'll be out of it either. Depending on where you're travelling from, there's also no promises of what restrictions will be in place for when you want to return to your original location either.
