So how did the leaders spend polling day?
Well, Mark McGowan was a bit preoccupied with the coronavirus situation in Queensland, and spent much of the morning locked in an emergency meeting.
A Brisbane doctor tested positive for the virus yesterday after assessing COVID patients at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Mr McGowan today met with WA's Chief Health Officer, the Police Commissioner, the Health Minister and the Director General of Health to discuss the issue.
But once that was done and dusted, he was spotted at polling booths at Hillarys, in Perth’s north, and in Zak Kirkup’s seat of Dawesville.

The Premier made the tactical decision to get behind the grill instead of risking being photographed taking a bite from a sausage sizzle today
Meanwhile, Zak Kirkup was accompanied by his father Rob as he voted at Falcon Primary School, in his seat of Dawesville.

Rob said he was proud of his son: "Who wouldn’t be?" he said.
