Since the moment Stefon Diggs found out the Bills acquired him in a trade, he couldn’t wait to get on the field in game action. He’d tweeted about wanting a fresh start, dealt with the trade rumors and found a new home.

“I would say since the day I was traded, I’ve been thinking about playing ball,” Diggs said.

He got that chance on Sunday, making his debut at Bills Stadium in the Bills’ 27-17 win over the New York Jets. Diggs caught eight of his nine targets for 86 yards, and his impact on the Bills was felt as much on the sideline as it was between the white lines.

Since fans couldn’t be there to lay eyes on Buffalo’s newest playmaker, The Athletic followed Diggs’ every move from the press box and spoke to his teammates about the impact he’s had on the team.
