Katie Holmes and Emilio Vitolo Jr.'s new relationship is already off to a PDA-heavy, tabloid-fueled start. Despite an early hiccup involving Vitolo Jr.'s fiancé Rachel Emmons finding out about her betrothed's new A-list girlfriend around the same time the rest of us did, according to a source that spoke to People, the new couple is still totally obsessed with one another.

“Emilio is very charming, flirty. It's easy to see how Katie fell for him,” the source said. “She seems very into him. She keeps texting Emilio all day long and he loves it. He can’t get enough of her attention.” In case it wasn't already abundantly clear, another source confirmed that Holmes is “smitten” with the Emilio's Ballato chef.

The couple was first spotted together at the beginning of the month dining and making out amongst the outdoor seating at Peasant Restaurant in Manhattan while wearing matching white t-shirts. However, judging by Instagram, the pair have known each other since at least July when Emilio commented two dancing women emojis on Holmes's post about her latest movie The Secret.

Emilio is the son of Emilio Vitolo Sr., the owner of the celebrity-beloved Soho Italian restaurant, Emilio’s Ballato. The eatery is a favorite amongst stars like Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Sophie Turner, Joe Jonas, Billy Joel, Whoopi Goldberg, and Barack Obama, whose images are all plastered on the walls of the restaurant. Lenny Kravitz even once bought the business a new awning. And it seems Holmes isn't the only thespian in their relationship, Vitolo Jr. has a bit of an IMDB himself, playing “Pageant Girls Father” on an episode of Inside Amy Schumer, and uncredited roles in Royal Pains and The Other Woman, to name but a few.
