Alright, look, we have no 2020 season to look forward to. And even if we play in spring, it won’t be the same. It won’t be the 2020 season after all.
But still, if there’s football on, on a Sunday no less, why wouldn’t you be watching it. ESPECIALLY IF IT’S YOUR BRUINS.
The UCLA Bruins 2013 football team is featured heavily, all day today on the Pac-12 Network.
The events start as early as 7:00 AM and continue all the way through to a 9 PM kickoff.
Here’s what you can be watching all day today:
vs California Golden Bears — 7 AM, 3 PM, 9 PM
vs Colorado Buffaloes — 8 AM, 4 PM, 10 PM
@ Arizona Wildcats — 9 AM, 5 PM
vs Washington Huskies — 10 AM, 6 PM
@ USC Trojans — 11 AM, 7 PM
vs Virginia Tech Hokies (Sun Bowl) — 12 PM, 9 PM
@ Utah Utes — 2 PM
So, let’s re-hash it. What can you actually watch in these games?
The Utah game is actually first in real-life chronological order, as Hundley exacts some revenge after throwing a pick-six in the fourth quarter against the Utes. He rushes a 36-yard touchdown to stay up on Utah late, and keep their No. 12 ranking intact.
Against Cal, this one wasn’t even close. After jumping out to a quick 17-0 lead, the Bruins shut down the Air Raid offense and cruised to a 37-10 victory. Brett Hundley throws three touchdowns and Ka’imi Fairbairn knocks home three field goals as well.
Against Colorado, Hundley combines for four touchdowns and with an incredible second half, the Bruins pull away with their 45-23 victory. Devin Fuller has a big game for the Bruins and fun names like Sefo Liufau for the Buffs make appearances.
At Arizona, remember this Myles Jack 66-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to essentially put this one away? Big scoring plays of 66 yards dominate this one as Shaquelle Evans also goes for a 66-yard touchdown reception from Hundley and the Bruins win 31-26.
Riding a seven-game home winning streak against Washington in this one, Jack once again goes off and scores four rushing touchdowns to outlast the Huskies and continue the home win streak alive. UCLA, ranked No. 13 at the time, wins, 41-31.
The Bruins run all over USC in this one at the Coliseum, 35-14, to take home the Victory Bell. Hundley runs for two scores, Jack scores another one, Eddie Vanderdoes and Paul Perkins each score on the ground as well in this contest.
The Sun Bowl against Virginia Tech has one weird and wild scoring line as the Hokies scored five second-half points, compared to 28 points in the fourth quarter for the Bruins. Watch for the close first half, stay for the second half, mostly the fourth quarter when Hundley throws two scores, Jack records his own pick-six and Perkins gets in on the action. Hundley also rushes for his awesome 86-yard touchdown early in the second quarter.
There is it — you Sunday all mapped out. Now, which game are you most looking forward to?
