Police are negotiating with two people inside a home north-west of Brisbane after declaring an emergency situation this morning.
A man is making threats against a woman after a break-in at a house in Everton Hills.
Emergency services were called to the property at 3:00am to reports of a robbery.
An emergency declaration was made three hours later.
Police say the four residents of the home were able to leave safely and specialist officers are negotiating with a man and a woman who remain inside.
Those living in nearby streets, bounded by South Pine Road, Dawson Parade and Gallery Lane are being urged to stay in their homes.
More to come.
