Teens arrested and more on the run after man killed in Melbourne crash - 9News

A man has died after his car was hit by an allegedly stolen vehicle in Burwood, Melbourne yesterday evening.

The two cars collided at the intersection of Warrigal Road and Highbury Road about 7pm, Victoria Police said.

The 15-year-old girls were arrested at the scene. while other males from the allegedly stolen car fled on foot. (Nine)

Victoria Police said several males from the allegedly stolen car fled the scene on foot, while two 15-year-old girls were arrested at the scene.

The girls were taken to hospital under police guard.

The police dog squad, public order response and highway patrol spent the night searching for the males who are still on the run.

Police are calling on anyone who witnessed the crash or who has CCTV or dashcam footage of the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
