Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson's fling is still in its early stages, but the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star seems to be enjoying her time with the Saturday Night Live comedian, so much so that the pair reportedly "text all day." Kardashian, 41, and Davidson, 27, have been the talk of Hollywood of late, having been spotted on multiple romantic rendezvous of late.
Kardashian, who famously split from estranged husband Kanye 'Ye' West back in February, shared a kiss with Davidson during her SNL debut on Oct. 11. Since then, Davidson and Kardashian have been seen together publicly multiple times, including at a rooftop pizzeria on Staten Island, Knott's Berry Farm theme park in California, and a New York City social club. Kim has not dated publicly since her split from West, but things seem to be clicking with Davidson, despite the couple's difference in age.
Kim is reportedly "giddy" about Pete, a source told Hollywood Life. "They text all day everyday and she shares these texts with her sisters,” the source continued. “She is very much into him and this is not a fling it seems.” The source also claimed that "Kim has not stopped talking to her sisters about Pete since SNL." When reports of the Davidson-Kardashian fling first came to light, many were skeptical as to the nature of their relationship, with some even questioning whether the two were pulling a publicity stunt for the Kardashian family's upcoming show on Hulu. That doesn't seem to be the case here, however, and whatever is going on between the A-listers appears to be authentic.
“Kim never saw this one coming but yeah, she’s very attracted to Pete,” a second source told Hollywood Life. Pete's "sense of humor" has been a major reason for Kim's attraction to him, according to the second source, who also added that the pair are "taking things day by day." Kim and Pete don't seem to be too worried about outside opinion when it comes to their relationship, whether it be comments on their age or the thoughts of Kanye, who, despite voicing his displeasure about Kardashian and Davidson's PDA, has apparently sparked up a new relationship of his own.
The relationship between the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and Davidson has certainly taken many people by surprise, but the fact that Pete's personality is so different from the men Kim has dated in the past seems to be playing in his favor. Whether the two have long-term potential remains to be seen, but they are definitely acting like a new couple in the "honeymoon phase," constantly texting and occupying each other's thoughts. Of course, Kim will have to iron out the details of her divorce from Kanye, who says he hasn't received divorce papers, before her and Pete can pursue something serious, though that doesn't seem to be troubling the 41-year-old.
